We had multiple other companies come out, do inspections and give their assessment, and even hired one. I immediately called and spoke with Christian around 7pm, who was very helpful over the phone, and gave his honest opinion. I also, had texted Christian with some questions after my husband had come home and looked at the AC himself, and without hesitation he responded quickly. We had a company come out and tell us we needed an entirely new AC Unit and that to fix it would cost thousands and we probably just needed a new unit altogether. The new unit would be $23,000. Yes. $23k. Legacy was recommended by a friend and when I told Christian what we had been told it took him no time at all to evaluate our system and realize the solution was simple. We were back up in running within an hour. I am just so extremely grateful him and this company. Thank God there are still honest people in the world!!Michael is amazing. We were originally going to replace a bunch of copper piping for the coolant because I thought it was leaking, but Christian decided to pressure test it just to make sure and possibly save us some money. He did! Some other unscrupulous contractor would have just replaced it and took our money, but not these guys! They're down to earth good human beings and I can't say enough good things about them. (5 Stars)  "I was referred to this company while in Las Vegas on vacation. My A/C broke while I was away. My son and Grand-Puppy were quite miserable. My friend's referral to Legacy included the caveat that Legacy will do their best to repair your A/C whereas other companies automatically want to replace your entire system without really delving into a full diagnostic and finding an adequate solution. This is exactly what happened upon my return to Houston. I was told by a major reputable company that they don't work on systems as old as mine. They would only provide a quote for a full system replacement. I called Legacy on Monday mid-morning and they were able to provide me with a same day appointment and this is with the Technician traveling from Magnolia Texas to my residence right outside of Pearland Texas. I had to coordinate an appointment for the next morning (which is today, August 23rd) and I have never been more impressed. The technician, Jacob, arrived on time and was so very courteous, well-spoken, extremely knowledgeable and most interested in fixing my A/C. When he walked into my house, he saw that I had 7 fans blowing in my living room and the thermostat read 89 degrees. He politely said, "Wow, it's hot. Let me see what I can do". For the next 2 hours, he worked on my system and lo and behold, within 1 hour, my system was back on blowing cold air. Jacob took the time to listen to my concerns and explain what was going on with my unit. I 100% recommend this company for HVAC concerns and I just want to say that I love Jacob and his sunny personality. In closing, I want to commend him on his concern for safety and cleanliness. He took off his shoes each and every time before entering my house. At one point, I started to feel bad because he had to keep coming in and going outside to check the unit. He came out on a Sunday night at 9pm to determine what the issue was. He charged the system and explained the problem was the coils and that he would order the part and install when it came in. Mike and Jake came on Thursday that week to install new coils. They spent most of the day in our attic working on the coils. We were so impressed by how clean, professional and friendly they were. Another week later and we had problems again with our unit on a Sunday. We called and Christian immediately sent someone out. This time it was the compressor. They did a hard start on the system to get us by another few days until they could get us a compressor. Through all of this Christian, Mike and Jake were all very helpful and patient. Explaining all of our options and there thoughts on the different companies that supply the parts. We are so grateful for their patience, professionalism and quick response.
